My three main collections include standard Giclee prints available on both Fine Art Paper and Cotton canvas. Hand embellished gallery wrapped canvas prints and Framed Giclee canvas prints which can also be Hand embellished. Each collection made from a selection of my own unique artwork directly reproduced in-house from one of my original oil paintings and limited to runs of 100 of each edition. With something for every setting weather it be a Centre Piece for you home or a gift for a true art lovers collection or simply something to brighten up the spaces in your hospitality business or other types of work place.
What makes a print a Fine Art Giclee?
What makes a piece of digital art "High End" and there for more desirable to collectors and art lovers? The answer to these questions lies in the artworks origins and the way in which they are produced. A high quality Giclee or Fine art Print would usually be expected to meet a certain criteria as follows.

High Resolution Capture. A quality print starts with a very detailed capture of the original work. Requiring some skill in photography to capture all of the detail and texture at a minimum 300dpi is extremely important to produce quality reproductions that look just like the original art and can be printed at any size. - High quality pigment based inks should be used to obtain colour accuracy and vivid, durable and light fast images. This ensures the print will retain its beauty for many years and is a major selling point for Giclee Print compared to standard print techniques.
- Archival quality grade paper or High quality canvas should be used to improve fade resistance and ensure longevity. A good quality Giclee should last up to 100 years if cared for correctly. Paper prints are usually mounted on board and framed while canvas prints a would typically be stretched and wrapped over a wooden frame in what's typically known as a Gallery Wrap.
- Good quality wide format printers that use pigment based inks such as our Epson 9880 with Unique Epson Ultrachrome™ K3 ink offers the finest quality results. The 8-colour ink set includes three black inks with interchangeable photo and matte black cartridges. It's ideal for many applications including photography, fine art and proofing.
My Standard Giclee Prints
My standard prints come in 2 media formats, printed on either Fine Art Paper or Quality Cotton Canvas. Lower cost and very versatile these types of prints can look just as appealing as décor in your home, While both also offer a great way to brighten up commercial spaces on a budget. Ideal for business settings within the Hospitality sectors like B&B and Hotel Rooms as well as Office Spaces and customer waiting areas. Prints on paper are typically supplied rolled, ready to be mounted and/or displayed in a frame if you choose. While Canvas prints will be stretched and gallery wrapped on to wooden frames.
What about my Embellished prints?
Art lovers and Collectors buy art not as an investment but because they love it and want to own it. Originals are of course more desirable but if a collector loves a particular piece of art and the original is no longer available a high quality Embellished Giclee can offer a second chance to own that piece of art. When embellished, a Giclee stands out and has so much more detail they look more like the original painting. They are better simply because it adds to the complexity and uniqueness of the piece and people will certainly notice it! A seemingly flat piece of art can come alive with the right embellishment and fit in perfectly with any true art lovers collection. All my embellished prints are supplied on canvas either as standard gallery wraps or with decorative wooden frames.
How are Embellishing Techniques applied?
Embellishing techniques are as unique as the artists themselves – some use oil paints while others use clear gesso, some have a great deal of texture while others apply a thin layer of paint. My prints are embellished using the same brush and knife techniques used to produce my original oil paintings, meaning the canvas has more texture and dimension when it is embellished and looks more like an original. And although these are reproductions each one is unique in its own way, both serigraphs and Giclee prints can be embellished and supplied as a standard Gallery Wrap or Framed wall art. A quality frame can offer greater protection for the art and increased aesthetic appeal.
Limited or Open Edition Prints, What's the difference?
Limited Edition Reproductions of and Original Artwork are endorsed and authenticated by the original artist. Personally signed and numbered with a certificate of authenticity as proof it is a genuine limited reproduction. The limited run length will usually be predetermined before the edition is made available.
Open Edition Reproductions are not limited to set number of prints but usually are still signed and authenticated by the original artist. These are generally less desirable to collectors and there for less valuable and more suited as décor in a commercial setting rather than a private collection.
